Welcome to the website of Quantum Information Laboratory at M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University, affiliated with the International Laser Center and the Faculty of Physics.

The QI-Laboratory runs research in the foundations of quantum information science (the theories of quantum measurement and entanglement, design and analysis of quantum cryptographic protocols, atoms dynamics in optical dipole trap, etc.), applications of quantum theory to modeling quantum interference phenomena in multilevel atoms interacting with optical and magnetic fields (dark resonance spectroscopy), and exploring applications of laser coherent control of molecular chiral states.

Projects for the 2nd-year students of Physics [2006/2007 academic year]

The Quantum Information Lab offers 2nd year students of Physics a number of projects that can be performed within the frame of our laboratory. All of them have introductory character, but require some additional knowledge in laser physics, quanrtum optics, and quantum physics.
